Any persons who requires an awareness of casualty packaging using a variety of stretchers for work at height purposes.
This course is designed to instruct any persons who requires an awareness of working at height casualty packaging in the event of a fall from height including possible spinal injuries, immobilization of limbs or limited descend options using a variety of medical procedures and stretchers as part of an existing rescue plan, or safe system of work.
The course will allow learners to evaluate immediate medical needs of injured personnel and be expected to package injured personnel on to full stretchers, stabilize personnel and ensure they are ready to be moved correctly and safely, covering:
In order to ensure the interaction between the learners and the tutor is spread evenly and effectively the maximum number of learners allowed on a course is six.

Successful learners will be awarded an Essential Site Skills Casualty Packaging - Working at Height Training certificate valid for 3 years.
Learners may be responsible for planning a safe system of work or be an existing member of a competent rescue team.
Stretchers can be provided for training.
Learner must be medically fit and robust due to the practical element of this course.
Casualty packaging can be integrated as part of our existing work at height rescue, or tower crane rescue courses, should you require a full rescue package.

Work at Height Rescue course. It is a legal requirement to plan and prepare for any rescue situation without reliance on the fire brigade with a trained rescue team and suitable equipment
Work at Height Equipment Inspector. Any work at height equipment you use must receive various legal compliance inspections at intervals of 6 months, or before, by a competent person.
