This qualification is aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.
Role and responsibilities may also include developing teams and individuals, creating operational plans, planning and managing projects, managing change, managing finance, resources and identifying new approaches to business activities, managing quality and continuous improvement as well as managing the human resources function.
The Leadership and Management Programme reflects current practice in Leadership and allows delegates to develop and expand their understanding and their application of leadership skills in the workplace.

This CMI Certificate comprises of three modules over the three day period. This breaks down as follows;

Our courses are designed for all professional roles whether you have educational qualifications or not. However we usually suggest that delegates have a minimum of 3 years’ management experience for our leadership courses.
Learners will be required to complete 2 assignments. The first requires participants to demonstrate an awareness of of leadership and management in action, and carry out a rigorous self assessment. The second asks learners to apply their succession planning and capability building skills through effective coaching and mentoring:
Upon completion of our Leadership and Management Course you will receive a recognised leadership qualification accredited by the CMI to level 5 (degree level).
Upon successful completion of their qualification, learners are able to progress to further learning within the suite of Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership - i.e. completing an Award and topping-up to Certificate or Diploma. Learners may also wish to further their ongoing personal and professional development by accessing other CMI qualifications, such as the CMI Level 6 Qualifications in Management and Leadership with the goal of becoming a Chartered Manager.
