The NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems is eligible for European Social Funding and is for learners working, or about to work in a wide range of public service roles. It will help develop knowledge and understanding of mental health and problems that can cause mental ill-health.
This qualification is designed for anyone looking to develop their understanding of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill-health.
This qualification aims to raise awareness of mental health and a range of mental health problems.
The objective of this qualification is to develop the learner’s understanding of a range of mental health problems, which could be used to support their role in the workplace or where they may work or interact with individuals with mental health problems.
To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems, learners are required to successfully complete 13 mandatory units.
Assessment involves a blended delivery approach - This is a mixture of face-to-face and remote sessions with a qualified health and social care assessor.
Delegates will be awarded the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.

Workers within a wide range of public service roles will interact with those with mental health issues and support needs in their day to day work. This could be those working in areas such as customer service, housing, voluntary sector, sport and recreation, hospitality, ravel and tourism etc. This qualification would specifically support those workers to understand mental health issues.
