NCFE CACHE Awareness of Mental Health Problems Course Objective

The objective of this qualification is to develop the learner’s understanding of a range of mental health problems, which could be used to support their role in the workplace or where they may work or interact with individuals with mental health problems.

  11. Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD
  12. Understanding Obsessive Compulsive Disorder – OCD
  13. Understanding Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder – PTSD

To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems, learners are required to successfully complete 13 mandatory units.

Assessment involves a blended delivery approach - This is a mixture of face-to-face and remote sessions with a qualified health and social care assessor.

Delegates will be awarded the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.

This could be those working in areas such as customer service, housing, voluntary sector, sport and recreation, hospitality, ravel and tourism etc. This qualification would specifically support those workers to understand mental health issues.
