The NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care is eligible for Funding and is for learners with an interest in developing their understanding in the safe handling of medication. This qualification does not qualify the learner to work but does support them in moving towards employment in health or health and social care.

This knowledge only qualification is designed for learners wishing to develop their understanding of the safe handling of medication.
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care, learners must complete all four mandatory units to achieve 15 credits.
Assessment involves a blended delivery approach - This is a mixture of face-to-face and remote sessions with a qualified health and social care assessor.
