The NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health is eligible for European Social Funding and is for learners working, or about to work in the health and social care sector, to increase their knowledge and awareness of children and young people's mental health.
The aim of this qualification is to increase the learner’s knowledge and awareness of children and young people’s mental health.
By completing the qualification, learners will develop knowledge of mental health in children and young people which would support progression onto further qualifications and into relevant employment in the health and social care or education sectors.
To achieve Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health, learners are required to successfully complete all 5 mandatory units.
Assessment involves a blended delivery approach - This is a mixture of face-to-face and remote sessions with a qualified health and social care assessor.
Delegates will be awarded the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health.
