The NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Working with People with Mental Health Needs is eligible for European Social Funding and is for learners working, or about to work in the health and social care sector who need an understanding of how to support those with mental health needs.
This qualification is designed for a wide range of learners who wish to understand the approaches to care and support of those with mental health problems.

The objective of this qualification is to give learners working, or intending to work in a health or social care context, an understanding of approaches to supporting those with mental health needs. It will also enable learners to progress to other qualifications in health care and social care.
To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Working with People with Mental Health Needs, learners are required to successfully complete the 5 mandatory units.
Assessment involves a blended delivery approach - This is a mixture of face-to-face and remote sessions with a qualified health and social care assessor.
