Course Information
Our Working at Height Awareness course is suitable for any persons who may be exposed to falls from height, whether in construction, maintenance or retail, and require further knowledge and understanding of the Working at Height Regulations to prevent accidents, injuries or near misses. This may include operatives, supervisors or managers. The course highlights various working at height hazards, identifies a range of control measures and confirms the need for employees to receive safety harness training for those who undertake this work and of whom are required to wear a harness.
Falls from height still remains the highest cause of workplace fatalities within the UK.
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 apply to all industries and work where there is a risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury. It covers essential information on managing and carrying out work at height, including the selection of appropriate equipment, the hierarchy of risk controls, identification of danger areas and rescue requirements.
Additionally, we provide a Working at Heights Awareness course available online for those working remotely and looking to obtain this essential safety training conveniently from their home or office. The course is facilitated by a qualified instructor and delivered via Zoom video conferencing, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning experience.
