Level 3 NVQ in Decorative Finishing - Painting and Decorating - Decorative Finishing

This NVQ is eligible for a CITB qualification grant.

The Qualification structure below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification, to work in Decorative Finishing - Painting and Decorating within the construction industry.


CSCS Gold Card

On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CITB HS&E test you will be able to apply for the CSCS Advanced Craft Gold Card.

Minimum Credit Value: 123

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 123 credits need to be attained. This comprises the 7 mandatory units plus units from the 2 optional unit groups. 

Mandatory Units - The learner must achieve 92 credits from the units in this group.

Optional Group A - The learner must achieve a minimum of 20 credits from the units in this group.

Optional Group B - The learner must achieve a minimum of 11 credits from the units in this group.
