Level 3 NVQ in Floorcovering Occupations (Construction) - Resilient /Textile

The Level 3 NVQ in Floorcovering Occupations is a work-based qualification designed for experienced individuals working within the construction industry.

To complete the qualification, you must be employed in a relevant floorcovering role, as assessment takes place in a real working environment. The NVQ allows you to demonstrate your practical skills, knowledge, understanding and occupational competence while carrying out your everyday responsibilities.

It also supports the development and recognition of essential, practical and transferable skills required for a career in floorcovering.

Gold CSCS Skilled Worker Card

On completion of your Level 3 NVQ, and after passing the relevant CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test within the previous two years, you may be eligible to apply for the Gold CSCS Skilled Worker Card.

The Gold Skilled Worker Card is valid for five years and demonstrates that you have achieved an advanced Level 3 construction-related qualification. Eligibility remains subject to current CSCS requirements for your occupation.

To achieve this qualification, you must successfully complete all 13 mandatory units. Two additional Level 4 units are also available, although these do not count towards achieving the qualification.
