S J Donnelly Ltd are leading specialists in external wall and render only installations. Founded in 2005, director Sam Donnelly has over 20 years of experience in the industry. They are based in Warwickshire and cover West Midlands, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and further afield where needed.
To gain access to specific sites on contracts, SJ Donnelly had to evidence that staff had the relevant training and qualifications. Their employees needed a mixture of L2 NVQs in Insulation and Building Treatments and L2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations. The training they needed was to help them fulfil current contracts and increase the scope of their business.

We looked at the training the organisation needed and put together a programme consisting NVQs in Insulation and Building Treatment and Fork-lift Operation. The 11 workers who enrolled were successful in boosting their skill-set and acquiring certification to meet the needs of the company, the morale of the workforce in the process.
ESS were very knowledgeable and were able to advise us as to what training was most suitable for our current workforce and explained how the training would benefit them. The team understood our needs as a business and the challenges that we were up against. From the initial meeting and learner enrolments right through to certification of the NVQs, ESS were flexible with their approach and ensured it was a smooth and stress-free training journey. The employees who work on site are appreciative of the training and qualifications gained and it boasted morale as it has given them further job security and helps open opportunities for progression within the business.
