We are delighted to announce we have successfully been awarded the matrix Standard for a second time! This quality standard mark ensures that we are delivering excellence in the field of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), providing impartial advice and guidance to our stakeholders and learners to support skills gaps and meet career and learning goals. Achieving the matrix Standard again means we continue to be listed as an accredited organisation on matrix’s holder’s directory.

This is regardless of whether the service or services are delivered face-to-face, through training, learning, remotely, or through a website.

What does the standard look for?

In basic terms, the matrix standards in IAG assesses an organisations ability to prove the following:

  • Does the organisation know and clearly define what it is offering learners?

How did we pass?

From the 3rd – 5th December, our head office was visited by an assessor representing the Assessment Services. Over the course of the week, a series of interviews were conducted with our stakeholders, partners, staff, employers and learners in order to establish the internal culture and processes in place to enable the team at Essential Site Skills to provide high quality impartial advice and guidance for all.

This is the latest in a long list of industry bodies that have approved ESS as a provider of high quality training provision. For information please see the accreditation page of our website.
