This one-day course and qualification is designed for the senior leaders of the business. This course ensures those with ultimate responsibility for the business and its actions, know their legal responsibilities and can ensure the workforce and the public are safe from harm.

IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors Course Overview

• Helps delegates understand and fulfil their health safety role and responsibilities
• Provides the knowledge base to integrate health and safety objectives with business objectives
• Gives the skills and confidence to ensure the business is organised to manage risks
• Decide upon suitable precautions in relation to identified hazards
• Understand the need for communication with employees and contractors and identification of training needs
• Integrate health and safety within the standards culture of the business
• Know the differences in responsibly according to role of employer, employee, contractor, client and sub-contractor

Entry Requirements

There are no explicit entry requirements but it is a given that learners occupy a director or executive position in their business.

What's Included

• Training delivered remotely using zoom, (course delegates must have access to a computer, laptop, tablet or phone that uses a microphone and webcam. We undertake a 'technology test' BEFORE the course begins to ensure everything is working - you will be advised of this upon booking).
• Connection quality is the responsibility of the delegate.
• Slide share classroom simulation, with tutor lead - so you'll see the slides, plus hear and see the tutor and other delegates on the course.
• Adapted Learning materials available digitally, these have been developed to aid your remote learning.
• Full supporting notes to prepare for the exam.
• One to one telephone support available during course, should there be questions you want to ask in private.
• Photo ID must be provided prior to the start of the course.
