The Temporary Works for Designated Individuals (DI) eCourse provides essential training for those appointed as, or preparing to become, the Designated Individual responsible for overseeing temporary works procedures in their organisation.

This role is critical to ensuring company-wide compliance with BS 5975:2019, and supporting the safe design, execution, inspection, and alteration of temporary works across all project types.

By completing this course, DIs will understand not only their own responsibilities but also how to ensure competency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all levels of their organisation — from boardroom to site.

The assessment consists of 10 multiple choice questions.

The pass mark is 80%.

Certification

You’ll receive confirmation that you have successfully completed the Temporary Works Designated Individuals course

You will also receive a digital certificate that you are able to download after successful completion of the assessment which can be printed off or saved for CPD.
