NVQ Information
The GQA Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Curtain Wall Installation is a nationally recognised, work-based qualification for individuals who install curtain wall systems on construction sites within the glazing, façade and fenestration sector.
This Curtain Wall Installation NVQ confirms occupational competence on site and provides the recognised qualification required to apply for the Blue CSCS Q-Card under the CSCS Partner Card Scheme.
The qualification structure below outlines the combination of mandatory units and optional units that must be achieved to be awarded the Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Curtain Wall Installation.
As this is a work-based NVQ, learners must be currently employed in a relevant curtain wall installation role to enrol and complete the qualification.
The Blue CSCS Q-Card is issued by GQA to skilled workers who hold the relevant Level 2 NVQ in a glazing, fenestration or curtain walling-related occupation. It forms part of the CSCS Partner Card Scheme.
