Level 2 NVQ in Plant Operations - Laying and Distributing

The Plant Operations - Laying and Distributing qualification structure below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification, to confirm competence in operating either binder spreaders, self-propelled spreaders or towed scrapers.

CPCS Blue Card

The CPCS Red Trained Operator card is valid for 2 years, during which time you are required to undertake the relevant plant NVQ to upgrade to the Blue Competent Operator Card. On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CPCS tests and the CITB HS&E test (within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply for the Blue CPCS card.

L2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations (Construction) - Laying and Distributing

Minimum Credit Value: 30

Reference: 601/4999/1 

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 30 credits need to be attained. 5 credits must be achieved from the Mandatory Group and a minimum of 25 credits from the Optional Group.
