Level 2 NVQ in Plant Operations - Movement Guide

The NVQ Level 2 plant and vehicle marshal qualification structure below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification, to confirm competence for preparing to, and directing and guiding the movement of vehicles, plant or machinery in the workplace. The qualification demonstrates competence for those working as a Plant Mover within the Construction Industry.

CPCS Blue Card

The CPCS Red Trained Operator card is valid for 2 years, during which time you are required to undertake the relevant plant NVQ to upgrade to the Blue Competent Operator Card. On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CPCS tests and the CITB HS&E test (within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply for the Blue CPCS card.

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 17 credits need to be attained from the Mandatory Group.
