Site Safety Plus

Site Safety Plus (SSP) is a scheme from CITB that helps provide the construction industry with a range of training courses, all designed for health and safety awareness, career development, and to help maintain a safe workforce.

The courses are designed to give everyone new skills and a shot to progress through the industry and their chosen career paths. From operatives to senior managers. Courses include a one-day Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course, right through to the five-day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). We will touch on some of the other SSP courses in another blog post, for this one we are focusing on the main two courses aimed at site managers and supervisors, plus the refresher training available for each of these courses.
