Course Information

Water Regulations and Byelaws have been a longstanding part of life in the UK, with varying legislation across its four nations. Despite these differences, the industry collaborates closely on training standards for Approved Contractors, adopting a common strategy outlined in the Learning Outcomes. Developed by BPEC and industry-approved, the manual serves as both a learning resource and future reference for those pursuing Approved Contractor status. This course is designed to meet the prerequisites for those applying to join either their local water authorities' "Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme" or one of the plumbing competent person schemes.
