Course Information
IOSH Working Safely course is a one-day course for people at any level, in any sector worldwide, that will boost business performance and staff motivation. How? Simply by showing how everyone can enhance their safety, health and wellbeing through everyday behaviours. This is a completely different approach to safety and health training: a high-impact programme designed to be fun and inclusive. No jargon – The first-class, jargon-free content is based on what people need to know in practice, and not off-putting legal language.
The course was developed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), as a global chartered body promoting high standards of health and safety in the workplace. Learners who complete this course will gain awareness of workplace safety in line with UK legislation, with IOSH certification recognised by one of the leading health and safety membership organisations.

In addition to providing in-person instruction, we offer an engaging and interactive Video Online Learning option for individuals working remotely who aim to attain their IOSH Working Safely qualification. Online learning provides an ideal solution for those seeking to achieve their certification from the convenience of their home or office. This dynamic learning approach, facilitated by our experienced IOSH tutors, offers numerous advantages. With smaller class sizes, learners often feel more at ease and are more inclined to ask questions, creating an environment that fosters interactive and collaborative learning.
Attendance - Full attendance of the course is mandatory to achieve a pass. Should your internet connection fail during the course for a prolonged period of time, or repeatedly, you may not be able to re-join as requested by the trainer, unless it can be re-established within 5 minutes. This is so general learning is not disturbed for other participants.

What Does the Business Get?
In order to ensure the interaction between the learners and the tutor is spread evenly and effectively, the maximum number of learners allowed on a course is twenty. For online courses the maximum number is 12.

At the end of the IOSH Working Safely course candidates will be required to carry out the following:
Part 1: 10 Question, multiple-choice assessment paper. (20 mins).
Part 2: 3 Hazard spotting exercises.
Where a delegate fails the course assessment, they can be given the opportunity to take a re-assessment, usually within 20 working days of the original assessment.
The training provider must make arrangements with the delegate and ensure that the same examination paper is not used twice.
Subsequent arrangements will be at the delegate’s own expense.
Should a delegate fail the re-sit, they will be offered to take the full IOSH Managing Safely course again.
If a delegate disagrees with the marks awarded at any stage, they can appeal to IOSH. The training provider will let the delegates know what their options are at each stage of the procedure.
Certification
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Working Safely certificate and/or passport card.
IOSH recommends that delegates refresh their training every three years to keep their knowledge up to date.
