This Level 1 qualification is designed for learners aged 16 or over who are looking to enter employment or gain a formal qualification in the waste and recycling industry.
The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners with the basic knowledge required by employers for entry roles within the waste and recycling industry.
The NOCN Level 1 Award in Waste and Recycling is a vocational knowledge-based qualification and as such, offers the opportunity for learners to demonstrate an achievement of the basic knowledge and understanding of waste and recycling activities. This qualification will prepare learners with the knowledge to enter employment in the waste and recycling industry in roles such as:
