Course Information
This one-day course is aimed at those who are responsible for planning, managing, raising awareness or dealing with spill response in Construction.
Having a reliable, trained and effective Spill Response Team/s on site will ensure the necessary environmental protection from pollutants and/or spills in accordance with legislation and best practice. Our Spill Response Train the Team course has been designed to allow internal staff to develop and train their own staff to satisfy the needs of an emergency plan, manage and clean up drills and procedures.
The aim of this course is to train selected staff in spill response training operations, planning, procedures and training delivery. Course objectives are:

There are no prerequisites for this course, but potential trainers should be confident canvassing information at all levels.
In order to ensure the interaction between the learners and the tutor is spread evenly and effectively, the maximum number of learners allowed on a course is eight.

Assessment
Learners will explore a range of case studies to underpin knowledge, a short exam and a practical confirmation exercise.
Certification
Upon successful completion learners will be issued with an Essential Site Skills Spill Response - Train the Team digital PDF certificate, valid for 3 years.
