NVQ Information

This qualification targets individuals engaged in diverse fencing activities, including general fencing and vehicle restraint systems, and is well-suited for those in technical, supervisory, or management roles.

Achievement at Level 3 signifies the capability to recognise and apply knowledge, methods, and skills to accomplish tasks and solve problems that are clearly outlined but somewhat complex. It involves taking initiative in starting and completing tasks and procedures, as well as exercising autonomy and judgment within set boundaries. Additionally, it demonstrates an understanding of various viewpoints and approaches within a particular field of study or work.


Gold FISS CSCS Card

Upon successfully completing your NVQ qualification, along with a CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme course (SSSTS) and passing the relevant CITB HS&E test for supervisors (within the past two years), you will be eligible to apply for the gold FISS CSCS supervisor card.
