NVQ Information
This qualification is designed for learners in various fencing job roles, including vehicle restraint systems, and is relevant for those in technical, supervisory, or management positions.
This is a work-based qualification, meaning learners must be employed in a relevant job role to undertake and complete this qualification.
Upon successfully completing your NVQ qualification, along with a Health and Safety Awareness course and passing the relevant CITB HS&E test for operatives (within the past two years), you will be eligible to apply for the blue FISS CSCS skilled installer card. Additionally, VRS installers must attend and pass a VRS Foundation, Installer, and Product-specific course.
Minimum Credits: 44
This qualification has six mandatory units and six optional units which are divided into two pathways, general fencing and this pathway vehicle restraint systems. To achieve the Level 2 Diploma in Fencing, the learner will need to achieve six mandatory units and a minimum of three optional units.
