CITB Funding for Site Safety Plus Courses

For CITB Site Safety Plus courses (such as SMSTS, SSSTS, Health and Safety Awareness, and Temporary Works), funding is no longer available through standard CITB short course grants.


Instead, funding is provided through the CITB Employer Network, where CITB works with local advisers to support employers with identifying training needs and accessing funding for eligible courses.

How funding works:

  • Funding must be approved before booking

  • It is arranged through your local CITB Employer Network adviser

  • Funding levels vary depending on your location and course

  • The Employer Network is designed to support small and medium-sized employers

  • At Essential Site Skills, we can work with you and CITB to help you access Employer Network funding and make the most of the support available.
