Working with Dortek Ltd, our assessment team completed the L2 NVQ in Door, Gate and Shutter Systems to allow four members of their skilled workforce to gain their blue CSCS Skilled Worker card.

Working with One Below, ESS identified several employment opportunities within one of their new store openings in the Sheffield City Region. ESS delivered a dedicated learning programme, funded through ESF and Skills Support for Employment, in order to give unemployed learners the opportunity to upskill and receive a chance to interview for the available employment within the brand new One Below store.
Jones & Woolman UK Ltd
In order to support Jones & Woolman UK, ESS delivered a wide range of training in order to upskill their workforce and allow workers to have more opportunities to progress through the organisation, improving their own career chances and the skill-base of the company as a whole.
Jordan Road Surfacing
In order to support Jordan Road Surfacing, ESS trained 3 workers who gained Level 2 NVQs which allowed them to also apply for cards vital to their work going forward.
NT Killingley Ltd
In order to support Killingley, ESS delivered a large range of Level 2 NVQ certificates and diplomas in various areas of plant operations and controlling lifting operations in order to up-skill their workforce.
ATB Civil Engineering
In order to support ATB Civil Engineering, ESS put together a training needs analysis to work out what qualifications and certificates their workforce needed. Using the Skills Support for the Workplace funding we successfully managed to upskill a number of their workforce with a variety of NVQs in Plant and Construction Operations.
S J Donnelly Ltd
In order to support S.J. Donnelly, ESS looked at the training the organisation needed and put together a programme consisting NVQs in Insulation and Building Treatment and Fork-lift Operation.
David Ashley Construction Ltd
In order to support David Ashley Construction, ESS identified a learner as being the perfect person to upscale with a L2 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations, enabling him to be able to apply for a Blue Competent Operator CPCS card.
